Senator Plays WoW, Has Lvl-70 Priest
July 25th, 2007 by Rajiv Ashrafi in Politics, Offbeat

In an interview to Pacific Daily News, Sen. Ray Tenorio, a representative of the state of Guam, revealed that he is a World of Warcraft player… a serious level-70 Dwarf priest at that, too. He goes by the name of Paleray on the Silverhand server and is even a member of a guild.

Aparently, he has been gaming online for years, with his previous choice being another Blizzard classic - Diablo 2. However, he later switched to World of Warcraft at the request of his brother and has been hooked since.

“What I like about World of Warcraft is it’s a great way to be able to reach out and connect with other people,” he said. “So many different people play - attorneys, accountants, geeks… all kinds of people.”

He also said that he comes back to WoW since the developers consistently add new content, commenting that “there’s always something new to come back to.” You can find more details about this gamer-lawmaker on his official website.
